Anglers have developed many ways to increase the power of our oil as it drifts with the current away from your location. One of the favourite is to add BRAN or OATS to the oil. These cereals are soaked for days before using. When fishing the tiny bits of oil soaked bran pulses concentrated oil into the water thus increasing the range and effectiveness of the Oil. Others use WD40 mixed into the fish oil this gives the oil slick that some anglers prefer .Some anglers swear by it and others will not use it to protect the ocean environment.
